Visit the David Shepherd Wildlife Foundation's Wildlife Arist of the Year Exhibition

Are you in London from 12-16 September 2023?

If you are, don’t miss the opportunity to visit the David Shepherd Wildlife Foundation’s Wildlife Artist of the Year Exhibition

Taking place at the Mall Galleries from 12th to 16th September (10am to 5pm), this is a wonderful chance to see some truly incredible wildlife art.

The Wildlife Artist of the Year competition attracts some of the world’s most talented artists and they celebrate the art of conservation in aid of some of the world’s most endangered species across Africa and Asia.

The shortlisted artworks (chosen by an expert judging panel) make it into the Wildlife Artist of the Year exhibition.  In 2023, the event is displaying the work of 133 artists – all raising awareness on conservation issues they care about in their own way and highlighting the beauty of the world.  The competition is often called the Oscars of international wildlife art!

50% of the proceeds and all entry income directly supports the work of the David Shepherd Wildlife Foundation. Since 2008, the competition has raised over £1.7 million to help endangered species.

Do visit the exhibition if you get the chance.  It’s free, but they do ask for a charitable donation.  And if you can’t get to visit, you can see the work of the artists online!   You can buy it too!

By the way, on the 13th September from 6:30 to 8:30pm for £15, you can attend an event called “Artists in the Field” and here how artists are working in the frontline of conservation!  Find out more here.
