Birds of Prey Experiences

There are lots of birds of prey experiences around the UK, where you can get close up to birds such as owls and hawks. Experiences will vary depending on the birds available, but here are some of the experiences available.

Most take place in a small group which gives you a chance to get to know different birds of prey at your chosen centre. Itineraries vary, but typically you'll learn about falconry and get an idea of what's involved in looking after the birds. 	There's a Birds of Prey Photography experience in Oxfordshire £99.00 This is a great opportunity to photograph a wide variety of birds of prey, and take static shots and the more challenging flying shots. These birds are highly trained and experience staff are on hand to help you get perfect pictures! There are lots of settings, including birds in flight, taking of and landing, striking dummy prey and flying close over water. 	There's a Bird of Prey Photography in Derbyshire £75.00 This falconry photography experience lasts for three hours. After a welcome, introduction and safety briefing, you can enjoy photographing a range of birds of prey - flying and static. The birds include hawks, owls, falcons, eagles and more. 	Fly The Big Four Falconry Encounter at The Hawking Centre, Kent £102 for one person In Kent, your falconer will greet you at the Manor Houses' main reception. The group is taken through the manor and its gardens to the Hawking Centre. And there, the falconer will show you round the facilities and you'll meet the team of birds! After a small introduction, safety briefing and refreshments, fly a European Eagle Owl, Chilean Blue Eagle, Bald Eagle and an African Hooded Vulture. The experience will take around three hours.
