Get active with or for animals!

Activity comes in all sorts of ways - mind, body and spirit.  It's often the case that once we find a purpose - and something concrete to do - in our lives that our activity levels rockets and we start taking better care of ourselves to better care for others.

We just happen to think that walking with or for animals - a dog, a llama or wolf - makes the whole thing more fun!

A plea from the animal kingdom....

Please take your rubbish home with you.  My friends and I are very inquisitive, and we do have a tendency to cut our paws on cans and broken bottles, our heads stuck in things, and to eat things we shouldn't.  I know, we shouldn't do it, but we do, and we haven't got a health service like you've got to sort us out when we do these things and injure ourselves.

So please, if you have rubbish, rather than chucking it out of the car window or just dropping it on the ground, please take it home with you and stick it in your own bin or the nearest public one you can find.

Thank you to all of you, from all of us in the animal kingdom.

Be prepared to try things you haven't done before.

It could well be that the reason you don't stick to physical activities such as swimming, walking and the gym is because you have got bored with them.

Animals are Unpredictable

Being with them can help you boost your mental agility, as you respond to situations, and increase your empathy and communication skills. You need to decide if you are willing to put yourself in situations where you are going to be dealing with unpredictable creatures
