Get involved - ways to get closer to nature and help wildlife

New online conservation course from United for Wildlife

(September 24, 2015)

If you'd like to find out more about conservation and endangered animals, there's a new free online conservation learning course to help you find out more about protecting life on earth.

The online conservation course has 4 modules...

  • Module 1: Understanding conservation
  • Module 2: People and conservation
  • Module 3: Conservation innovation
  • Module 4: Take action

The first two are available now.  Modules 3 and 4 will be released later in the year.  The course has been developed by United for Wildlife partners to engage young people in conservation and inspire them to take action.

Fauna & Flora International (FFI) has played an important part in the development of the course, providing input and presenters. The charity has been supporting emerging conservation leaders for over 30 years through initiatives such as the Conservation Leadership Programme and the Masters in Conservation Leadership at the University of Cambridge.

This is a great chance to delve into the world of conservation, to kick-start a new interest or hobby, maybe even a new career - and at the very least to become more environmentally aware.
