Get Active with Animals
Welcome, and thank you for visiting our website! This is a wonderful time of year to get outside and experience nature, and we hope this website gives you lots of ideas as to how you can do just that! It's very invigorating and refreshing to get out for a walk in the cold, crisp air and then to come back into the warm for a hot brew and a treat or two! |
Places to get outside and walk The Woodland Trust, The National Trust, the RSPB, the RHS, WWT (wetlands), the Wildlife Trusts, the National Trust for Scotland and English Heritage all have places to explore and enjoy a really nice walk. And many of these places are dog friendly, too! It's often worth becoming a member if you live close or do a lot of moving round the country - visiting places like these take you to parts of the country you perhaps wouldn't otherwise see. Get active WITH animals Have an animal experience day, volunteer, help your feathered friends in the garden, foster, put animal magic into your life in your home - there are lots of ways you can get active with animals and connect with nature! There are lots of special offers on animal experiences available - you'll find them on our blog here Get active FOR animals Wherever you are in the world, there are lots of ways you can get involved helping animals from home. There are awareness days for many different types of animals - they are a great way for us all to increase our understanding of different species, the challenges facing them and how we can all help. You'll find a list of awareness days here. |
