Turtle conservation Thailand
|
Spent two weeks or more helping with turtle conservation in Thailand.
The Conservation Centre in Rayong is
vital to ensure that the turtle population is stable and safe, and that
the public are aware of these animals. You can actively help
contribute to turtle conservation here, and help protect the centre's
future.

These turtles have their own beach for breeding, and the Conservation Centre watches them closely, frequently weighing, measuring and monitoring these animals to check their progress. Young turtles are collected, nurtured and released at various places throughout the Gulf of Thialand.
Work with Thai satff helping with all aspects of this work, monitoring and releasing the turtles, and helping to keep their beach litter free.
You'll travel by boat each day to the island, working four days a week from 8am to lunchtime. The afternoons give you the chance to do
any number of things - organising beach cleans, writing promotional
signs for the centre or spending time at leisure.
