Visit a SEALIFE centre

SEA LIFE helps many many people of all ages discover the wonderful world of marine life.  And secondly, it helps safeguard our seas and their inhabitants. SEA LIFE regularly contributes towarsd conservation and marine animal welfare, in the main through a programme called  Save Our Seas – S.O.S for short.

SEA LIFE incorporates a number of amazing discovery aquariums for all the family.
So visit SEA LIFE centres and you are making a contribution yourself to the wellbeing of sea life for 3 reasons:
  1. You are raising your own awarenes of the sea & marine life and its wonders
  2. By visiting, you are supporting marine conservation
  3. Because you may decide as a result of your visit to continue helping & supporting marine conservation in your own way, whether that be through adopting an animal (a seal, turtle, penguin or shark) or taking part in a beach clean up weekend, or anything else.  (The Marine Conservation Society has lots of ideas of ways you can get involved.)
Where are the Sea Life Aquariums?
Did you know that there are over 12 Sea Life Aquariums in the UK? They include Birmingham, Bray (Eire), Brighton (being refurbished so check carefully to see if it is open or not), Cornwall Seal Sanctuary, Great Yarmouth, Hunstanton Seal Sanctuary, Loch Lomond, London Aquarium, Oban Seal Sanctuary, Scarborough, Weymouth, so they are located around the UK.
